The ESI electronic dual cylinder thermostat is a product developed with energy saving in mind. Hot water can be stored at any desired temperature between 25°C and 65°C and with an automatic one-hour boost to above 60°C any legionella bacteria is eliminated. The backlit LCD display shows the user both the current water temperature and the desired water temperature with a red LED light indicating when heat is in demand. A large dial makes setting the desired temperature simple, whilst the secondary thermostat (high limit) is pre-set at 80°C with a manual reset. Electronic sensors offer far greater temperature accuracy ruling out the need for physical contact unlike standard mechanical dual cylinder thermostats.
